Qualifications:
- -Familiarity with UPS World Ship, Federal Express and other carriers
- -Ability to interact smoothly with Receiving, Purchasing, Sales and the Sales Coordinator in solving product processing problems and discrepancies
- -Familiarity with both Domestic and International Shipping procedures
- -Knowledge of Schedule B/HTSUS Commodity Codes
- -Ability to lift fifty pounds assistance free, and fifty-one pounds plus with assistance, whether that assistance be another individual or with mechanical assistance
Responsibilities:
- -Pull, pack and process all orders received from Sales, Receiving, and/or any other department
- -Review daily packing slips to determine packaging priorities for correct shipment receipts
- -Arrange appropriate carriers for all shipments both domestically and internationally
- -Generate shipping documents when necessary
- -Generate AES/ACE export documentation when necessary
- -Follow the Company Export Compliance Program guidelines
- -Report ITNs to the Sales Coordinator
- -Generate hazardous material documents when necessary
