Shipping Coordinator - $16+ per hour - Full-Time - Petoskey, MI Job at PMP Personnel Services
PMP Personnel Services is partnered with a Production client in Petoskey, MI who is actively looking to hire a qualified individual for a Shipping Coordinator position.

Shipping Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Work in accordance with safety rules and actively support team
- Be present for scheduled hours and required meetings
- Maintain excellent standards for housekeeping
- Quality Management System Procedures adherence
- Review open orders
- Schedule appointments with truck load carriers calling 24 hours in advance as necessary
- Create pick list, assist in picking, scanning, and shipping
- Create box labels, BOL, Packing slips, stickers for each piece as necessary
- Monitor inventory of shipping supplies and notify supervisor when reorder is required
- Check orders against shipping or customer order requirements
- Receive incoming materials
Shipping Coordinator Qualifications:
- High School Diploma and 3-5 years work experience in shipping setting
- Ability to read packing slips, pick list, and training material for certification on Forklift
- Forklift Certification
- Commitment to Quality work
- Proven track record of excellent attendance and work ethic
- Strong PC skills including proficiency in Excel/Outlook and exposure to inventory software
- Planning and problem-solving ability
- Data entry accuracy
- Organizational skills
- Be able to lift to 50 pounds
