Shipping and Receiving Coordinator
We are currently looking for an individual to fill the role of Shipping and Receiving Coordinator at our Chesterfield, MO facility. We offer a flexible 4-day work week with a 10 hour/day schedule. Qualified candidates should be detail-oriented, posses excellent critical thinking skills and have the ability to follow standard procedures and written instructions.
Wage starts at $19.19 with an increase to $20.32 after 6 months.
Job Duties:
  • Reviews method of shipment and prepares commercial invoice, certificate of conformance, bills of lading, invoices and verification of Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS), Country of Origin, price and weight.
  • Complete air freight paperwork for shipments shipping domestically/overseas.
  • Maintain accurate files of all documents pertaining to inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Administers export documentation for international entities, international distributors and end-users to assure completeness and consistency.
  • When applicable, works with Customer Service Representatives and/or the Compliance Department to complete paperwork.
  • Arrange and facilitate source inspection, order management and packaging requirements to OEM and government specifications.
  • Package, count, weigh and identify items in receiving and shipping and verify materials against vendors’ invoices, bills of lading, customer orders and similar papers.
  • Arrange for delivery of supplies or parts to expedite flow of materials to meet production schedules and report needed changes.

  • Excellent time management
  • Strong familiarity with Microsoft Suite
  • Use of database or ERP software and reporting
  • Experience in a lot/serial controlled warehouse/working environment a plus


Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 year shipping or logistics experience
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Secondary education in business, supply chain, or operations a plus
  • Shipping and/or lean certificates a plus
Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling up to 50 lbs. Use of step stools and rolling ladders.
