Integrity Trade Services is in conjunction with a mulch and soil manufacturing facility in Morrison, IL and is now hiring Sit Down Forklift Operators who want to start a steady skilled-trade-job (year-round).

Job Summary: They are responsible for ensuring organic or chemical materials flow through the shakers and mixers. They may perform housekeeping to ensure that material does not accumulate, remove scrap material, and re-stack inventory. They will maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area.

Job Description:

• Responsible for the operation of a forklift or other heavy equipment to safely move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise around the facility.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to climb, sit for long periods
• Ability to work in a dusty environment hot/cold/rainy weather
• Performs safety check on forklift, also checks fluid levels for oil, water and fuel before operating the equipment
• Ensure the packaging lines have empty pallets available
• Inform the Supervisor of the pallet inventory
• Removes palletized bags from the production lines and places them on the stretch-wrapper, changes film if necessary
• Places palletized bags in inventory and ensuring they are located in the proper rows storing them neatly without damaging other inventory
• Reads the BOLs and places the correct quantity and SKU on the carrier’s trucks in a safe and efficient manner. If any changes on the BOL must be communicated with the dispatcher.
• Lifts heavy objects by hand or using power hoist, and cleans work area, machines, and equipment, using broom, rags, and cleaning compounds, to assist machine operators.
• Performs physical inventory counts of finished goods as required
• Actively participates in plant cleanliness by restocking picking up trash, and debris, washing equipment.

Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Team oriented
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk and lift
• Must be able to perform physical tasks for extended periods of time including: standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling and twisting over surfaces and lifting at least 50 lbs.
• Ability to use hand and machine tools in a production-based environment
• Willing and able to work any shift schedule, including nights and weekends (shift differential and overtime available) and in any weather conditions
• Ability to get your hands dirty in a dusty environment
• Physical ability to climb in and out of equipment and sit for extended periods of time
• Able to perform all job functions safely
• Coaching and good attitude
• Ability to take direction willingly from team leader to maintain a safe and productive environment and meet daily production goals.
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Pre-employment drug screen and E-verify required
