SA-TECH supports munitions delivery training for Air Force, Army, Navy and Marine Corps air and ground crews through USAF Air Combat Command’s Primary Training Ranges (PTRs). We deliver OM&S services to PTR bombing and gunnery (B&G) ranges and electronic warfare (EW) ranges, supporting remote threat emitters, mission data processing, range communications, weapons impact and electronic combat scoring.
We are currently hiring an experienced Site Manager at Holloman AFB, NM to be responsible to the Program Manager for the daily operations and maintenance of three (3) Holloman Air Force Base (HAFB) Bombing and Gunnery Ranges under the Primary Training Ranges contract.
In this role, you will provide direct supervision of the activities and duties of various personnel in a variety of job functions to include heavy equipment operators, range control officers, electronics technicians, computer operators and general maintenance workers. In this role, you will plan and direct the execution of all maintenance activities for all range equipment and vehicles, including managing the construction, repair and movement of bombing targets.
Specific tasking includes (but is not limited to) the following:
- Supervises facility and equipment maintenance task, report outages, maintain logs and collect data.
- Maintain a close watch over air and ground activity and is always on the look-out (via RCOs and various electronic and mechanical mechanisms) to prevent intrusion of unknown aircraft and/or ground personnel.
- Supervises personnel in operating weapons impact system scoring.
- Performs duties as security manager for government and company programs.
- Develops and executes employee required company/AF/OHSA training and safety program for all assigned Industrial technicians to include Wild-land Firefighters.
- Leads site quality control and works closely with the company’s Quality Control/Safety Manager.
- Coordinates transportation movement for heavy equipment over 150+miles of secure land area for range operations.
- Liaison with aircraft scheduling and joint services ground parties for range operations.
- Works with on Base Civil engineer, TRIAGA work order system, managing Air Force Real property maintenance and repair of infrastructure on 25+ facilities.
- Manages the maintenance of roads/grounds on approximately 140,000 acres of secure bombing range land.
- Prepares and executes reports, memoranda as needed to facilitate the running of daily operations on the ranges.
- Responsible to company corporate leadership to ensure all training and company policies are adhered to by all employees.
- Responsible to adhere to the contract Statement of Work (SOW), company policies and Union Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
- Provide employee discipline, as required and in accordance with CBA.
Work Conditions:
- The working conditions will vary as some work will be performed outdoors during all times of the year.
- Long periods of standing, walking, bending, reaching and lifting in an outdoor environment.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted.

Education/Experience/Skills:
- High School diploma at a minimum, with higher education, including military specialization training preferred.
- Requires a minimum of 4 years of supervisory experience.
- Experience in military and/or military range operations desired.
- Working knowledge of Air Force Civil Engineering compliance programs.
- Familiar with operation of heavy and agricultural equipment.
- Experience management of facilities and with planning and execution of a weekly/monthly/annual maintenance schedules.
- Understanding of basic construction techniques; drainage plans.
- Proficient in use of MS Office software.
- Must have organizational skills and high attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Understanding of security procedures.
- Working knowledge of Welding and fabrication procedures.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted.
- Job demands will require physical dexterity and flexibility.
- Must be physically able to sit, stand, kneel and climb.
- Current NM or TX Driver’s License required; must be able to be insured through company’s vehicle insurance policy while driving work/government/rental vehicles during working hours, and for the duration of employment.
- U.S. Citizenship required and you must be able to obtain a U.S. DoD Security Secret Clearance prior to start date and maintain a Secret clearance throughout employment.
- All candidates will be required to pass background screening to include SSN, Driver Record, and Criminal Background Investigation.
