Compensation: Proposed hiring rate of $21.00+/hour, depending on experience

Ski & Ride School Pros provide unparalleled learning experiences for our Guests. We specialize in using Learning Based Terrain with shaped features in all our beginner learning zones. Preference is to staff our Programs, on weekends, and other peak holiday times.

The Ski & Ride School Supervisors will work with the Ski & Ride School Director, other departmental managers + supervisors, and a team of 150 instructors, to create a welcoming impression for our guests and employees. Focus is on lesson quality, guest and employee relations, staff performance, communication, teamwork and administrative duties. This position will supervise operations of lessons, indoor and outdoor facilities/teaching areas, and will assist with lesson assignments as well as continuing to foster our culture of a true learning community.

Experience Required - Minimum Qualifications

• 2 or 3 years minimum supervisory level experience working in a Ski & Ride School
• Current PSIA/AASI Level 1 + CS 1, or Level 2 certification or equivalent
• Point of sale and software system exposure, ideally with RTP, Flaik, ADP, and Microsoft Office proficiency
• Excellent teamwork, communication and guest service skills
• Must be: An excellent skier/rider with technical knowledge of skiing/snowboarding and snowsports safety
• Able to work long and irregular hours including weekends and holidays
• Is achampion of Play Forever, Powdr's corporate responsibility commitment to protect the environment and support our community in Eldora's everyday operations
• Pass a background check
• High school diploma or equivalent

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, work is performed both outside in all weather conditions, including extreme cold, snow, wind and rain, on varied snow surfaces, as well as indoors. Indoor time is spent working at a computer/desk, and/or interacting with guests. You may need to stoop, kneel, reach, and/or lift objects of up to 50 pounds.

Preferred Experience:

• PSIA/AASI Level 3 certification or equivalent
• PSIA/AASI Children's Specialist certification Level 2 or equivalent
• College degree/experience in a relevant field
