Body Shop Automotive Technician Responsibilities:

· Repair damage caused by accidents or wear and tear to vehicles

· Perform repairs on customers' vehicles with efficiency and in accordance with the dealership.

· Communicate directly with the Body Shop Estimators so that customers are informed if any additional service is needed.

· Providing excellent customer service keeping in mind that our customer’s perspective comes first

Body Shop Automotive Technician Skills/Qualifications:

· 2 Plus years Body shop experience is preferred (will consider an apprenticeship for a motivated novice with a great work ethic looking to start and advance in their career)

· Detail knowledge and understanding of vehicle structures

· Knowledge and judgement to decide whether how to conduct damage repair economically

· Full range of repair techniques and the skills to dismantle and reassemble the parts, using cutting tools if necessary.

· Excellent communication to clearly explain issues and repairs to customers who may have little understanding of vehicles.

· Attention to detail for spot imperfections during finishing

Pay: $44,469.45 - $76,351.12 per year
