Social Media Assistant, Brain Storm Shelter

Have a knack for social media and intuitively “get” brands and their brand voice? Brain Storm Shelter, the folks behind Truck Yard and Second Rodeo Brewing, have an opportunity for part time social media support!

Role Summary

This role will be focused on community engagement, with some social media content development. We anticipate about 15 hours per week (6-7 days per week with a generally flexible schedule). This person will need to capture the natural wit and humor of our brands in all of their social interactions.

Responsibilities

• All community engagement for 4 Truck Yard accounts, Second Rodeo, and new brand opening later this year
• Posting posts per content calendar (Marketing Manager develops content calendar, although you may have the ability to support)
• Developing and posting stories, especially as it relates to event promotion
• Visiting Truck Yard/Second Rodeo Brewing locations to gather content
• Sharing trends and content ideas for TY/SRB to stay on trend and relevant
• Ensuring all social entities have accurate information at all times
• MUST be local to DFW and available daily (including weekends)

Skills and Qualifications:

• Background in social media for business
• Self-starter and highly reliable
• Strong knowledge of Canva
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple accounts
• Proficient knowledge of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
• Strong creative eye and natural wit
• Reliable transportation and current driver's license

Salary: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
