We're an exciting new micro mobility (e-bikes, electric scooters, electric skateboards) venture looking to make Chicago more sustainable and livable. This social media/customer experience hybrid position will play a key role in the growth and success of our company, as we’re looking for someone to help spread the word about all of our great new transportation options in person and online.

This is a part-time position with 30-35 hours per week at $21.00 per hour.

Qualifications and Skills:

• We need a high energy individual who genuinely loves micro mobility solutions. You don't have to know everything; we'll teach you! But you should be enthused to get some cars off the road and help keep our customers informed about all the latest gear we have to offer.
• We’re looking for a reliable self-starter to develop best practices with. You will be the first person hired in this position.
• You need to have at least one year of experience with retail and/or customer service and you should enjoy talking with people and helping them figure out their best options.

The Job:

• We anticipate 50% of your time being spent working on our social media, and 50% on our sales floor, going over electric vehicle options with our customers.
• Assist with the design and execution of social media campaigns
• Create weekly and monthly editorial calendars to promote our brand on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and Twitter.
• Create and edit short-form videos
• Create and distribute content such as blogs, infographics and videos
• Track social media engagement to identify high-performing ideas and campaigns for scalability
• Perform social media marketing research
• Respond to comments and DMs on social media platforms
• Brainstorm and research ideas for original content
• Create compelling graphics to share across social channels
• Write social media captions that speak to our target audience
• Develop new strategies for increasing engagement
• Assist with photo/video content shoots
• Ensure brand message is consistent
