As a Family Preservation Social Worker with Orchards Children’s Services, you have the opportunity to apply research based intervention plans, which are developed and implemented in the family’s home or community. While providing home-based services you will collaborate with Children’s Protective Services, Foster Care, and/or Probate and Circuit Courts in identifying the family’s needs, strengths, and then developing goals designed to enhance family functioning. While spearheading the change process, you will see that the focus is on building stronger, safer and more independent families and children. Reignite your passion for helping families in need by using your education and experience to make a meaningful difference in your community.
