Interstates is growing, and we are currently seeking a Software Developer with a SQL database to focus to join our Applications Development Team for our Sioux Center or Sioux Falls offices. The Software Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing applications, reports, and databases. • Focus on database modeling and data management. Query, analyze, and modify data. (Microsoft SQL Server)
• Design, develop, and implement software
• Systems design, development, training, implementation, and startup
• Customer communications, service and support
• Other duties may be assigned

• 2 or 4-year degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
• Or equivalent combination of education and related experience/training
• Academic or job-related expertise with SQL and related database technolgies
• Academic or job-related some experience high-level language development such as .NET, C#, XML, HTML, ASP.NET or similar technologies
• Experience with object oriented programming, user interface development, database systems, and system integration

Preferred Skills:
Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Travel: This position is located in our Sioux Center, IA or Sioux Falls, SD office. Overnight travel will be required depending on client needs, usually 25 days in a typical year.
