Beckett Thermal Solutions is currently looking for a Software Engineer, a key member of the team that develops the HVAC industry’s next generation of combustion control devices within our corporation. Successful developers will be self-driven, creative problem solvers and eager to collaborate and solve complex problems on their own and with team members.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Reporting line to Director of Engineering
- Developer of software code for embedded electronic control devices
- Developer and executor of test plans
- Manager of revision history and product documentation for customer release
- Manager of program file storage for latest revision and all revision history
- Become proficient at applying controls in the HVAC heating industry
- Become knowledgeable of appropriate UL standards governing a particular project or product
- Documentation within code and in external documents reflects detail to share the code architecture and product operation with peers and manager

Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or computer science or equivalent
- Three years minimum experience in embedded systems code development using C++, C#
- Proficient in LabView
- Proficient in software and hardware selection for microcontrollers
- Knowledge of hardware design in an embedded system environment
- Experience in HVAC controls and modbus preferred
- Ability to collaborate and work within a team and self-motivated, independent worker
