Primary Purpose

Reporting to the Senior Director of Consulting Solutions, the Solutions Consultant works collaboratively to promote best practices and excellent experiences for EdAssist clients and their employees. Consultants serve as client-facing subject matter experts in workforce education, policy development, and EdAssist solutions. They engage in project-based workflows, including policy and data analysis and policy design to clarify business goals and help achieve desired outcomes for EdAssist clients.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

  • Partner with the sales team to pursue new business opportunities and support all aspects and phases of the sales process

  • Provide consultative analysis and guidance to clients based on their business goals and objectives, communicating client-specific value propositions

  • Function as a product and implementation subject matter expert

  • Collaborate with internal teams such as product management, professional services and employee services to solution for client business needs

  • Communicate client and market demand to product management team

  • Facilitate a smooth and successful transition (externally and internally) from the sales process to implementation

  • Evangelize and demonstrate EdAssist Solutions products and services to prospects, customers and partners via presentations and demonstrations

  • Design and develop best practice programs and policies for clients, following an established project methodology and deliverables and ensuring the client policy can be supported and configured within the platform

  • Gather and analyze internal spend and policy data along with external data to compile benchmarking and market reports for use with clients

  • Assist in developing and packaging solutions to be offered to and leveraged by clients and prospects

  • Create material/collateral to be used by and in support of the sales/account management teams

Job Requirements – Education/Experience

Education

Bachelor's Degree required

Experience

3 years of Consulting experience required

3 minimum additional years of experience would be considered in lieu of the applicable degree

Additional Job Requirements

  • Previous consulting experience or equivalent work experience required

  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs including PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Outlook

  • Strong time management skills and ability to multi-task and manage many client projects simultaneously with a sustained level of high quality in a fast-paced, collaborative environment

  • Exceptional decision-making, prioritization, problem-solving skills

  • Skilled communicator with ability to instill confidence in clients, ability to modulate message, tone and content of presentations based on role and level of client contact

  • Proven ability to analyze client situations and develop solutions/proposals aligned with EdAssist Solutions business capabilities and client needs

  • Knowledge of higher education, tuition assistance programs and adult education preferred

  • Knowledge of database software such as Microsoft Access preferred

  • Knowledge of Salesforce preferred

  • Up to 20% travel required. Possible visits to clients, or to company meetings in the U.S.
