Bronzeville Academy Charter School is seeking a Spanish/World Languages Teacher for grades K-8. The successful candidate will be responsible for weekly instructional planning and effective instructional delivery. Given that BACS has a STEAM instructional model, we are seek candidates we are able to integrate the above mentioned instructional model into daily and weekly units of study. The successful candidate will work closely with school's leadership to build our world languages program to enhance student learning experiences.
Responsibilities
- Plan daily and weekly instruction for a wide array of student levels in accordance with the Danielson Framework for Teaching and Learning.
- Submit timely lesson plans and recorded video lesson per school administration's expectations.
- Differentiate instruction in accordance with student instructional needs, especially diverse learners.
- Monitor student progress using formative assessments.
- Maintain accurate attendance and grade records.
- Cultivate a student-centered learning environment in accordance with the Danielson Framework for Teaching and Learning.
- Fully engage in Professional Learning Communities to build individual professional capacity and competencies.
- Perform other duties as directed by school administration.
Candidates holding a Professional Educator License (PEL) are encouraged to apply.
Experience
- Teaching 3 Years (Preferred), but first year teachers are encouraged to apply.
