Meriplex is looking to add a SQL Server Developer to the team!

Responsibilities:

• Database management including backup, recovery and regular database maintenance.
• Proactively monitor SQL Server maintenance tasks, troubleshoot failed jobs and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Monitor statistics related to memory, locks, I/O, database response time, wait events, top sessions and background processes.
• Create indexes to achieve critical dataset response time for time sensitive processes and reports.
• Perform SQL Server integration with enterprise applications.
• Transactional SQL Performance Tuning and query development.
• Query reengineering and development

Let’s work together to succeed together! A minimum 3-5 years of experience a database administrator with strong understanding of database structures, theories, principles, and practices.
Some experience in the following areas will serve you greatly in this role:

• Related experience with template development.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Demonstrated attention to detail Ability to work in collaborative environment
• Ability to work on an individual basis or small team

Work Schedule/Travel - Standard Meriplex business hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00. Post COVID there is an expectation that this role will be heavily customer interfacing. Currently domestic travel only. Candidates should be comfortable in a traveling environment up to 10%.

We value both education and experience equally - While your formal degree in Computer Science (or related degree), and certifications, would contribute to your success in this role, we also find tremendous value in skills and knowledge gained through in depth, real-world experience in the field along with the following certifications are highly preferred:

• Experience with other Electronic Heath Record and Practice Management Systems such as Greenway, Athena etc.
• NCP Certifications on NextGen Ambulatory EHR.
