Job Description

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Repairs, installs and perform preventive maintenance on all production equipment to ensure that such equipment is always in good operable condition. Use electrical and mechanical expertise to trouble shoot, repair, install and perform preventive and interactive maintenance on all production equipment accessories to ensure that all equipment is always in good operable condition.

Hourly rate is dependent on experience and is expected to be in the range of $28.00 - $34.00 an hour. Excellent benefits, including 401k match plan.

1st and 2nd shift available.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY:

• Installs, operates, maintains, checks, and trouble-shoots 3 phase and single-phase electrical equipment, also all types of A/C and D/C electrical equipment.
• Repair and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic equipment i.e.: control panels, PLC's, lift systems, conveyor shaft, motor and bearing replacement, etc.
• Installs, operates, maintains, and checks all types of mechanical equipment as directed.
• Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking schematic, repair manuals, or parts catalogs, as necessary.
• Installing stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to layout plans using hand and power tools.
• Inspecting and examining machinery and equipment to detect irregularities and malfunctions.
• Adjusting machinery and repairing or replacing defective parts
• Operating machine tools to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set-up of machineries.
• Ensuring operating safety devices function properly on completion of repairs, modifications, and installations.
• Keeping detailed and accurate reports and documentation
• Cleaning, lubricating and performing other routine maintenance work on machineries.
• Adhering to workplace safety policies, regulations, and compliances
• Maintaining a clean and environmentally safe work area
• Performing other related duties as assigned

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

• 5 years manufacturing experience.
• Sound knowledge of manufacturing electrical and mechanical systems.
