Marketing is responsible for assessing customer needs, market conditions and competition to inform business strategy. Marketing implements the strategy through developing, commercializing and monitoring the appropriate products and services.

Product or Services Marketing is responsible for defining the product/service and market strategy and life cycle management including customer need identification, market research, product or service offering, pricing, positioning, promotion, branding and distribution to drive customer loyalty, sales growth and improved profitability.

As Sr. Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for owning and executing the marketing and promotional strategies targeting community-based specialty physician practices, specifically rheumatology, gastroenterology, and multi-specialty infusion centers.


Responsibilities


  • Leverages customer and market insights to lead strategic marketing plans to increase distribution market share, expand provider adoption of technology solutions, and grow Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) membership
  • In partnership with Digital Marketing, develops robust lead generation strategies and drives the production of content and related marketing assets to support lead gen and nurturing efforts
  • Tailors messaging and campaigns based on defined needs of each customer segment
  • Optimizes marketing mix in owned and paid channels to increase brand awareness and drive revenue growth
  • Leads and executes co-marketing plans for collaboration agreements and industry partnerships
  • Works closely with business leadership and Sales teams to implement, track and measure the effectiveness (ROI) of aligned sales and marketing efforts, fully leveraging Salesforce campaign management and closed-loop reporting
  • Partners with Communications Business Partner team to implement external marketing communications, thought leadership and PR efforts
  • Works closely with Creative Services, Brand Strategy and external agency partners to produce effective and on-brand customer-facing marketing campaigns and tactics
  • Defines the trade show strategy and works with Advisor, Event Marketing Operations and other Cardinal Health teams and external vendors to ensure a coordinated presence at external events
  • Partners with Sr. Manager of Market Research to define the needs of current and prospective customers
  • Responsible for the ongoing management and tracking of a Marketing budget
  • Collaborates effectively with others and builds strategic alliances within the Pharmaceutical Segment and across Cardinal Health


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field, preferred
  • 8+ years experience in related field, experience in the healthcare industry is strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication, presentation and writing skills
  • Demonstrated project management and marketing skills and experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong decision making and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize and balance multiple initiatives
  • Ability/willingness to travel up to 20% (domestic travel)
