What You'll Do

• Experience in advising, auditing, and performing operational effectiveness testing of IT controls covering Cyber controls (e.g. application security, risk assessment, vulnerability management, configuration management) and technology controls (e.g. SDLC, Resilience, Deployment management)
• Strong technical Knowledge of applying the above as part of attestation to industry best practice standards and regulatory frameworks such as FedRAMP, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, NIST 800-53, SOC II, US HIPAA, EU GDPR, PCI-DSS, Cloud Security Alliance, SOX and/or ISO2700.
• Demonstrated understanding of the techniques and methods of assessing and testing customers technology and cyber controls operational effectiveness to evidence compliance with some of the above standards e.g. as part of an audit, Standard attestation programme, risk assurance and consulting role, and/or security and operational compliance engineering role.
• Solid understanding of Cyber security risk management and Software delivery lifecycle, tooling and processes.
• Strong knowledge of cloud technology (preferably a professional certification in a cloud provider technology (AWS, Azure, Google))
• Partner with design, engineering, and documentation to deliver a product that achieves the desired business outcomes.
• Partner with other product teams to drive corporate objectives.
• Understand and synthesize the customer/user pains and behavior, industry trends, market and competitive landscape, and anything else that can provide context to drive the product team's decision-making.

Role Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related field such as business, finance, law or qualified accountants.
• IT certifications in one of CISM / CISA / CISSP/ is required
• Overall experience of 5+ years in Banking , Financial Services Industry, Healthcare or any regulated large company.
• Prior & relevant experience in compliance, testing, audit and/or legal management within regulated environments is preferred
• Good understanding of regulatory compliance. Must be familiar with relevant regional laws, regulations and the overall regulatory environment
• Demonstrable knowledge in operational risk management, internal control, or internal audit preferably within a banking and / or IT Function
• Experience of process mapping and delivering professional reports and presentations gained within a financial services organization or audit/consulting practice.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience utilizing assurance automation and analytics tools preferred
