Perform safe, efficient repair and maintenance of the Plant/equipment as
directed by management to prevent Plant downtime, employee injuries and
adverse environmental impact related to equipment failure or malfunction
(“Reliable Plant Performance”).

In this role you will:

• Perform proper, timely inspection, maintenance, integrity testing, proving, repair and safe return to service of all Plant equipment and systems as directed by management.
• Perform preventative maintenance as directed by management and in accordance with applicable industry standards, manufacturer’s recommendations and applicable regulations to ensure ongoing Reliable Plant Performance.
• Responsible for adhering to safe work practices, programs and permits for all employees and contractors.
• Ensure adherence with Plant Process Hazard Analysis (“PHA”) requirements and Management of Change (“MOC”) documentation.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area. Properly stow tools, parts and materials upon completion of work.
• Source and maintain an inventory of tools, equipment, parts and materials as directed by management to ensure Reliable Plant Performance at the lowest reasonable cost.
• Complete all regularly scheduled and other facility/equipment inspections in a timely manner to ensure safe, efficient Plant operations.

• Minimum of two years of plant operations or maintenance experience.
• Minimum of one year of construction or mechanical equipment maintenance and repair experience.
• Strong knowledge of industrial processing equipment (e.g. valves, meters, compressors, heat exchangers, etc.)
• Experience operating under industry standard safe work programs, practices and procedures
• Able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time
• Lift up to 75 pounds
• Use heavy tools (e.g. pipe wrench)
• Able to pass pulmonary fitness test, SCBA mask fit test and physical
• Able to see and use both hands for operating machinery and packing products
• Able to stoop, bend, and reachable to work in extreme temperatures
• Available to work long hours as needed
