Staffing Coordinator Job at WorkFit Medical, LLC
Workfit Medical Staffing, PLLC is seeking a Staffing Specialist to join our growing business!
The Staffing Specialist will be responsible for answering phones, greeting visitors to the office, scheduling and coordinating short to mid-term contracts and assisting with on-board paperwork for temporary assignments in Nursing Homes, Schools and Hospitals. The position will be responsible for assisting with developing, planning and maintaining schedules for staff and maintaining the new hire life cycle paperwork through the scheduling of per diem shifts after on-boarding has been completed. You will also be a part of client development/relationship building. The goal for this position is to provide the client with consistently great customer service with a positive attitude.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate temporary shift assignments with the client, identifying shifts needed to be filled
- Plan a weekly schedule for client shifts to ensure required shifts are filled.
- Assist with client development – (obtain new staffing contracts and nurture existing client business)
- Works with appropriate client staff and per-diem employees to coordinate the filling and back-filling of shifts
- Contact per-diem employees through phone calls and texting to confirm work availability
- Fill the required shifts with available staff allowing zero to minimal interruption to the customer’s service
- Record scheduled, filled and cancelled shifts into the Staffing database and track for payroll purposes
- Maintain employee credentialing processing
- File employee records and payroll
- Continuously monitor progress of shift fills, including tasks and investigate any deviations from schedule
- Monitor on-call information in the database and keep apprised of staff scheduling
- Keeps all appropriate personnel apprised of status of shifts and deviations from schedule
- Identify and suggest corrective actions to improve quality of coordination and staffing process with management involvement

Certifications, Experience and Education
- High School diploma or equivalent and 2-3 years’ experience directly related to the job. College hours or a college degree may be substituted for some experience as deemed appropriate
