How this role contributes to the Y’s mission:
As a Y Stay & Play Associate you will be responsible for the safety, active engagement and well-being of children attending Stay & Play while their parents or guardians are participating in activities in a Y family center. You’ll provide a safe, engaging, fun, and nurturing environment for each child in your care. As a Y Stay & Play Associate you’ll contribute to the Y and the broader community we serve by supporting the healthy development of children and giving peace of mind for their parents/guardians while their children are in your care.

This work is right for you if you have:

• An enthusiastic love for children of all ages, patience, good judgment and a good spirit
• Prior experience with youth or youth programming
• The ability to clearly communicate and effectively listen to children, parents/guardians, members, and other Y associates
• The ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
