The Strategy Manager will play a key role in developing the strategy of Holcim in the US. This position will work closely with senior level stakeholders including the North American Head, the US CEO, the US Executive Committee and all operational and functional teams. S/he will report directly the VP of Strategy & Business Performance.

• Contribute to shape the company’s strategy and mission. Lead and participate in strategic initiatives.
• Participate in putting together business cases evaluating the level of attractiveness of specific markets and business segments
• Monitor the execution of the agreed upon strategies and tactics
• Manage and execute multiple strategy projects at the same time
• Develop and create polished and highly professional strategic documents

• This role is highly cross-functional and requires close, frequent interaction with other areas of the business including the Business Development / M&A department
• Collaboration will also take place with the corporate headquarters in Switzerland and the strategy teams of other countries
• Potential to develop in the position and move into other roles in the organization or within the same department.

Required Work Experience: 6+ year of working experience. 4+ years of experience in strategy roles

Required Computer and Software Skills: Advanced Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and equivalent Google Suite product

• Strong business acumen with a keen ability to see the “big picture” and critically analyze problems and opportunities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to successfully interact with people at all levels of the organization
• Ability to challenge, influence and negotiate
• Comfortable working with and analysing data
• Ability to prioritize, work under tight deadlines and produce high quality material
