The City of Dodge City is accepting applications for a Full-Time Maintenance Worker I – Public Works Department/Street Division. Position performs manual labor in the repair, maintenance and minor construction of City streets and storm drainage systems; removal of snow/ice; and other duties as assigned in the Public Works Department. Prior experience in asphalt construction, bricklaying, or concrete work preferred.
This job requires heavy physical work including lifting and manipulating up to 75 lbs., and performing these duties in all types of weather. A valid Kansas driver’s license is required with good driving record, and must obtain a Class B CDL with air-brake endorsement within 6 months of hire for all Public Works positions. Position subject to random drug/alcohol testing after CDL is acquired.

Pay: $17.50 per hour
