Job Summary and Qualifications

The stroke coordinator must be a Registered Nurse in the state of Florida with 3+ years previous neuroscience and acute care experience. The stroke coordinator will need to meet the needs and exceeds the expectations of internal and external customers in a manner that provides satisfaction. Customers include patients, families, physicians, employees, visitors, vendors and anyone else contacted within the performance of position responsibilities. Conducts daily activities within the appropriate ethical and legal guidelines as defined by our Code of Conduct and Ethics and Compliance program and in accordance with our mission, vision and values. Anticipates and provides resolution to issues based on the needs and expectations of our customers. Interacts consistently in a professional, compassionate manner with patients, families, physicians and colleagues. Documents and completes records/reports according to departmental/organization guidelines. Adheres to hospital and departmental guidelines and protocols.

What qualifications you will need:

• 3-5+ years experience
• Neuroscience RN experience
• Registered Nurse
• Associate Degree
• Acute care experience (Preferred)
