1. Receive and process all housing contracts.

2. Communicate appropriately with all students and related HCC office personnel concerning room assignments, cancellations, room deposits, contracts, and any other pertinent housing information.

3. Enter appropriate housing data in Power Campus (MIS).

4. Enter appropriate student conduct data into Maxient.

5. Conduct regular Resident Assistant (RA) meetings.

6. Provide RA training in cooperation with the Director of Student Life.

7. Work with students, RA's, and HCC Security for compliance with HCC housing policies.

8. Assist the Director of Student Life with housing related student activities.

9. Speak to prospective students and their parents about HCC housing when they visit campus.

10. Collect and report relevant, disaggregated housing data regarding number of students housed, number of housing infractions, housing activities, retention rates in housing, etc.

11. Administer housing programs designed to enhance housing experiences and increase student retention.

12. Coordinate and conduct orientation for students living in HCC housing.

13. Recommend changes in policy, procedure, and program development and implementation.

14. Confer with appropriate College and City officials to direct students in the event of an emergency with housing i.e. weather, unexpected death, or other critical events.

15. Participate on the Campus Safety Team.

16. Assist the Vice President for Student Services with various activities, both day and evening, that are assigned.

17. Report to the Director of Student Life progress on Fire Drills, Tornado Drills, and any additional safety protocols as directed.

18. Conduct all student housing meetings at the beginning, middle, and end of the semester to communicate housing procedures.

19. Work with RA's to ensure that checkout is done in an efficient manner.

20. Coordinate the move-out process including assessing room conditions and preparing apartments for the next semester including supervising a summer work crew.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 3 years experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. Related experience desired. Must be proficient in the use of the computer and social media.

Housing provided. Must live on campus, or in an approved location.
