Substance Abuse Counselor
We are seeking Substance Abuse Counselor to work at Womens Substance Abuse Residential Services in Statesboro, GA.
Under supervision, schedules consumers for testing, assembles test materials and administer tests. Develops and implements behavior management and/or skills acquisition plans. Trains to collect information about clients through interviews, observation, and tests. Provides training to direct staff in implementing behavior modification techniques. Prepare and maintain all required treatment records and reports. Monitor, evaluate, and record client progress according to measurable goals described in treatment and care plan. Maintain confidentiality of records relating to client's treatment. Evaluate clients' physical or mental condition based on review of client information. Develop and implement behavior management plans as required by regulatory agencies. Assists with administration and scoring of tests.
Minimum Qualifications: Master's Degree in Substance Abuse Counseling, or Bachelor's Degree in Counseling, Psychology or Social Work AND Certificate of Abuse and Drug Counseling (CADC I or II).
