Evergreen Recovery Centers residential program for pregnant and parenting women, located in Everett is looking for a counselor to be part of a team of passionate multidisciplinary team of infant mental health specialist, behavioral health professionals, therapeutic childcare staff, and community partners, in an environment that promotes healing through education, empowerment, and stabilization.

Classes offered include art therapy, relapse prevention, Seeking Safety, CBT, science-based curriculum, and parenting education, as well as general SUD psychoeducation. Classes, groups, and person-specific interventions provided are evidence-based and best practices. We work hard to keep up with current and Applying evidence based practices, including flexible work hours, virtual and in-person formats, mentorship focus, and a prioritization of safety regarding COVID-19 for staff and residents. Working in tandem with our detox, psychiatric prescribers, outpatient and medical departments, Evergreen is able to offer holistic, person-centered, and strengths-based treatment for women and children impacted by the disease.

Minimum Requirements

• Washington State Department of Health certification as a Substance Use Disorder Professional/Trainee
• AA degree in chemical dependency studies or related human service preferred; BA preferred; MA ideal!
• Experience with women preferred but not required
• Fully vaccinated against COVID-19

Pay: SUDP Trainees starting wage is $20-$25/hr. depending on qualifications and prior experience.

SUDP Certified wage starting pay is $24-$30/hr. based on education and prior experience.

Dually licensed SUDP/SUDPT and mental health $26-35/hr. based on education and prior experience.

Benefits: Evergreen pays $800-$1200 a month for Regence health care, Health Savings Account, Delta Dental, vision , prescription, short/long-term disability, life insurance, EAP, and a 4703(b) retirement plan with match.
