YMCA of Bucks and Hunterdon Counties is looking to hire a Site Director for our Camp Cabrini site (Fairless Hills, PA)!

Site Director Salary: $18 - $20 per hour

Site Director Hours: Monday - Friday, no nights or weekends (Seasonal)

Site Director Responsibilities:

• Supervise, train, motivate and evaluate camp staff.
• Ensure that all staff under the incumbent's supervision understand and comply with all
• personnel & other policies established by the Board of Trustees and professional staff.
• Develop the daily schedule and ensure that all aspects are followed appropriately and in a positive way (electives, special programs, daily events).
• Assist in the development and implementation of staff training.
• Supervise and organize all camp field trips.
• Consult with staff regularly to ensure programs are valuable, attitudes are positive, and to maintain good relations with them.
• Responsible for guiding staff through self-evaluation process and camp programs.
• Work cooperatively with fellow directors, maintenance staff, tent and trailer staff, day camp staff and parents.
• Resolve to the best of your ability scheduling, programming, parental and staffing problems as they arise and consult, as necessary, with supervisor for assistance and input.
• Responsible for the safety and well-being of staff and campers.

Site Director Qualifications:

• Must possess a bachelor degree in a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years experience working with children.
• Minimum of 2 years experience working in a day camp setting, at least one of which is in a supervisory capacity.
• Prior or current experience in education, recreation, child psychology or related fields.
• Personal character traits, consisting of the ability to be flexible, cooperative, understanding, personable, sincere, focused and organized.
• Must be able to swim.
• Possess at hire and maintain CPR certification, or obtain within 30 days of hire
