SUMMER JOB: Summer Camp Counselor / Office Assistant Job at Hidden Valley Camp
Hidden Valley Camp in Maine is looking for an organized person with office skills who also wants to have time outside in a lively, creative community of adults and children. Join our summer communityas a live-in camp counselor for children ages 8-13 and support our year-round staff in the office. A great mix of professional, public-facing work supporting camp families and time living with children in a fun, artistic setting at the heart of Maine’s midcoast.
Applicants must possess:
- Experience in a child-care or camp setting
- Comfort working in a team setting
- Oral and written communications skills (phone and email)
- Ability to multi-task
- Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office
- Critical thinking and problem solving
- Ability to organize written materials
- Capacity to focus and complete projects in a busy environment
- Familiar with basic phone systems a plus
