Supervising Physician Job at QuickVisit
Urgent Care in East Texas is looking for a Texas licensed, supervising physician who wants to support our mission in putting patient care first in an underserved rural community. The physician’s role will include collaborating with nurse practitioners in the service area. The physician will work with the nurse practitioner team and conduct patient chart audits as required by state laws. Furthermore, the physician will need to fulfill any state-specific requirement as a collaborator (e.g.: meetings with providers, etc.). The role requires ability in evaluation, assessment, oversight of proper documentation, and appropriate patient treatments. Candidate must be clinically strong in urgent care and primary care and have strong critical thinking skills to provide appropriate supervision of nurse practitioners.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Current/active MD/DO TX license
- Active Licenses must be in good standing
- Strong Clinical Background
- Active DEA License
- Must have effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- National Board Certification Two-year’s experience as a Physician in Family Medicine or Med-Peds
- Ability to understand, navigate and learn company’s EMR as well as experience with MS Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Suite
- Ability to delegate and make sound clinical judgments with patient safety as a top priority
