Site Supervisor Roles and Responsibilities

Overview:
Site supervisors are responsible for the general order, discipline and operation of their assigned site. As a site supervisor you are the employee’s first point of contact within the management structure. Site supervisors work to mentor employees, train employees, build/issue schedules, ensure uniforms and equipment are operational.

Operations:
- Scheduling:

- Site Supervisors are responsible for creating the schedule for their team at their specific site.

- All schedules will be published and posted with a minimum of 30 calendar days available to the employee.

- Overtime must be approved by the Regional Manager, and cannot exceed
1.5% of weekly hours.

- Callouts, time off requests, and other additional staffing needs will be directed to the site supervisor first and attempts to staff the request should be handled within the site at first. If additional personnel are needed the site supervisor will coordinate with the scheduling coordinator.

- Uniforms:
- Ensuring all employees are wearing the proper uniforms.

- While wearing the uniform, it must be presentable and the employee must be in good hygienic condition.

- Facilitate uniform inspections routinely and conduct uniform exchanges as needed.

- Equipment:
- Site supervisors are responsible for all equipment (both company and client issued) on site. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Ensure CS devices are operational and in good working order and condition
- Ensure adequate equipment and uniforms are available
- Conduct equipment inspections and functionality tests regularly to identify issues
- List all scan disk that are not currently operating correctly
- Clean equipment and vehicles assigned on a weekly basis

Training:
- Site Supervisors are responsible for effectively training their entire team.

Providing appropriate training allows us to develop strong officers and provide the best service to our clients. Training includes, but is not limited to:

- Site Standard Operating Procedure Training
- Ensure all officers understand and are able to operate within the site's SOPs.
- Conduct routine inspections of officers performing their duties.
- Train and demonstrate tasks within the SOP regularly to keep knowledge levels.

- Annual Training or Advanced Training
- Coordinate with the training coordinator to enroll and schedule training for officers assigned to the site.
- Ensure officers are compliant and training is complete.

- Training Assistance
- Identify officers that need additional training and coach/mentor them. If further training is necessary, schedule with the training coordinator for additional time.
- Document all training in TrackTik.
- Ensure all officers know proper operation of CS devices and reports.

Administrative:
- Reporting

- Approve reports checking for spelling, accuracy and to ensure the officers followed proper protocol.

- Reports need to be approved daily.
- Ensure officers' activity levels are meeting company standards.
- Review report templates routinely to ensure they are relevant and accurate for the site.
- Coordinating with the personnel and training to ensure officers are trained and capable.
- Working with Operation Managers and Regional Managers to identify both performing and underperforming officers are identified and promoted or additional training/removal as needed.

- Be available for telephone calls or texts as needed to include in off hours.
- If a callout occurs you will be tasked with trying to fill the call out with employees assigned to your site.
- If you require further assistance or the employees of the site can’t fill the coverage then request immediate assistance from the Personnel
Coordinator and Operations Manager.

- Attend online weekly meeting on Friday at 8:30am with the Operations Manager and
Regional Manager

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour

  • Beaufort, SC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

  • Security: 5 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (Preferred)
  • SLED Card (Preferred)

Shift availability:

  • Day Shift (Preferred)
  • Night Shift (Preferred)
  • Overnight Shift (Preferred)
