POSITION: Childcare Site Supervisor

District Childcare Supervisor

SUPERVISES:
Childcare Provider

EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred

EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of three years prior childcare experience


Position Function/Purpose

Supervises childcare organization and operation.


Major Responsibilities

1. Supervise childcare organization and operation

2. Ensures compliance with childcare licensing and Child Care Services/Texas Rising Star

3. Prepares all reports and information as required by district, local, state, and federal guidelines

4. Maintain attendance of all children enrolled in childcare

5. Assures that all childcare workers’ required credentials or current

6. Maintains all required records and documentation for childcare and parenting programs

7. Assist families in accessing community healthcare resources and other childcare

8. Liaison between parenting students and access to childcare both on and off site as applicable


Supervisory Responsibilities

1. Supervises childcare workers


Qualification Requirements

1. Must obtain and maintain state licensing requirements for Childcare Director Credentialing

2. Current CPR and Basic First Aid

3. Ability to use various computer programs
