Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory was started in Durango, Colorado in 1983. The organic and delicious chocolate is both shipped from Durango and made into products in-store. Specializing in caramel apples, fudge, and delicious chocolate confectionaries.

As Shift Supervisor, you will be an important member of the management team and will be supported with the tools, training, and guidance necessary to succeed.

The shift Supervisor is responsible for the supervision, training, and management of evening operations.

Responsibilities:

· Supervise and evaluate employees, counsel and promote employee growth, improve employee efficiency, morale, and teamwork

· Resolve customer concerns, consistently demonstrating professional communication skills and ability to promote positive public relations

· Sales growth and Employee hiring/training/retention

· Produce and maintain work schedules

· Maintain food safety specifications according to policies, procedures, and health department requirements

· Must fill-in for absent employees, as necessary

· Working Lead with tips. Ability to operate 3rd party systems and POS.

· Perform other duties as requested by store manager and/or owner that would be vital to store operations

Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent

· Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions

· Must complete a food service course during first year

· Reliable transportation and a flexible schedule

· Stand for up to 8 hours during a shift and be able to lift 20-30 pounds

· Ability to resolve interpersonal situations

· Strong organization skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
