To coordinate the operations and maintenance activities of the Engineering Department as it relates to all offsite facilities.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Able to design and implement an operations and maintenance program for Westfield Hospital and all offsite facilities.

Coordinate with the Engineering Director, Manager of Engineering, Construction Manager and Engineering Supervisor to schedule and complete required maintenance projects.

Provide routine inspections and generate work orders for managing maintenance at Riverview Health properties.

Schedule and manage Engineering staff to complete maintenance work.
- Regular interaction with other Department and Practice Managers to ensure their needs are met to ensure quality patient care

Ability to operate a computer with Microsoft Office 365, CMS work order software, Automated Logic & Trane building control systems and other related software systems.

Operate Riverview Health software systems to schedule and track costs.

Able to prepare cost estimates and administer the bidding process with contractors.

Purchase materials needed for repairs and projects.

Schedule and coordinate installation work by staff and/or contractors.

Inspect and provide quality control of contractor and staff installations.
-
Coordinate utility and system shut downs for installation of new systems.

Able to work hands on installing and repairing as needed.

Review and assist in coordination of construction projects.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Level of Education
-
Minimum: High School Diploma with 2 Years of Trade, Technical School or Equivalent

Preferred: Associate Degree in an applicable technical field

Level of Experience
-
Minimum: 4 Years Maintenance Experience in Healthcare, Commercial or Institutional Buildings

Preferred: 6 Years Supervision of Healthcare, Commercial or Institutional Facilities Maintenance
