Crannell, Crannell and Martin Engineering Corporation (CCM) is seeking a Survey Party Chief. This role will lead our survey crew in all phases of construction, boundary and topographic surveying for various commercial, residential, and industrial projects in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.

Responsibilities:

Independently performs surveying assignments, making exact measurements, and providing data relevant to the shape, contour, location, elevation and dimension of land or land features.

Operates and maintains all instruments and measuring devices including levels, total station, GPS equipment and data collectors.

Knowledge of Trimble field equipment and data collector software.

Download and upload survey data to data collectors and office computers.

Mentor and train other staff.

Responsible for safe operation and maintenance of vehicles, tools, and equipment.

Performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.

Responsible for acquiring supplies for construction staking as needed

Requirements:

Minimum 2-years land surveying experience

High School diploma or GED required

Working knowledge of surveying.

Highly motivated

Ability to work well in a team environment

Good written and verbal communication skills

Basic math skills

Ability to operate Total Stations, Trimble GPS equipment, TSC3 data collectors, and digital levels, and other related equipment.

Valid Driver’s License
