Summit Technologies is looking for a Mission Planning SystemSupport Representative (SSR) to support USAF mission planning activities at Scott AFB. The SSR is responsible for ensuring thebase/unit computers and associated equipment, software, and map data areupdated and functioning appropriately. TheSSR will support activities such as daily exercises, training missions,deployments, and real-world contingencies.
Responsibilities
A successful candidate demonstrates an ability to maintainan IT environment inside of the Mission Planning organization, and enjoys thechallenge of troubleshooting problems (software, hardware, systems) includingmanaging communications, documentation, and testing until a resolution isdetermined. SSRs also play a key role inoptimizing mission planning data, as well as communicating effectively withcoworkers and varying management levels within the supported unit.
MinimumEducation, Skills, and Experience Requirements
Must be a US Citizen.- Must have an active Secret Clearance
- Bachelor’s degree or four (4) years of relevantIT work experience.
- Security + certification within 6 months fromdate of hire to reach a minimum of DoD8570 Level IAT Level II
