AVI Foodsystems is seeking a motivated and experienced Systems Administrator to join the Information Technology team at our Headquarters Service Center in Warren, Ohio.

Position Summary

This is an experienced position within the Systems Administration team. The principal responsibilities of this position are to participate in the ongoing development, implementation and support of critical infrastructure. These systems support both internal and external customers. The incumbent will report to the Director of System Administration.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• 
  Manage multiple VMware VCenter’s spanning production and DR sites including replication and associated storage systems
• 
  Control information and network security using a variety of enterprise class appliances and systems
• 
  Manage, maintain and build additional Windows and Linux servers when needed along with associated software
• 
  Support Microsoft Active Directory including Group Policy, DNS and print services.
• 
  Maintain existing enterprise networks and build additional networks when needed

Qualifications and Work Experience

• 
  At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role
• 
  Thorough understanding and working knowledge of VMware technologies
• 
  Working knowledge of enterprise class web security, web application firewalls, software and patch deployment and enterprise end point protection
• 
  Thorough understanding and working knowledge of Windows Server 2012 and greater
• 
  Experience and working knowledge of Linux operating systems and components
• 
  Experience and working knowledge of Juniper or Cisco firewalls and network switches
• 
  Working knowledge of Backup and Disaster Recovery technologies
• 
  Knowledge of Load Balancing
• 
  Must work well in a team
• 
  Must be willing to learn, multi-task, manage shifting priorities in a fast paced environment
• 
  Understanding and experience with DevOps (Preferred)
• 
  Understanding and experience with AWS (Preferred)
• 
  4 year degree (Preferred)
• 
  Any relevant certifications (Preferred)
