REPORTS TO:
Information Technology Manager

POSITION PURPOSE/MISSION:
As a key member of the IT Team support the continued growth, development, and security of the company’s information technology systems by installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software and systems management tools.

POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Develop and install new systems, including servers, networking, software, storage, etc.
2. Work with IT Manager to ensure that company systems can help fulfill wider business goals.
3. Monitor, maintain, and improve Information Security controls to help defend and protect the IT environment.
4. Monitor, test, and run diagnostics on IT systems to identify potential problems and work to resolve issues.
5. Create and maintain strict process documentation to ensure single failure points are minimized.
6. Coach IT staff to work within the systems to resolve issues on their own.
7. Participate in appropriate professional networking and educational opportunities.

• Primary internal customers: Kondex and Res Manufacturing Associates
• Primary external contacts: Contractors

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum Technical Qualifications:

• Five or more years of experience as a Systems Engineer.
• Post-secondary education; either a bachelor’s or associate degree in a related field.
• Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate Certification (will be expected to be earned within the first 6 months of employment).

Preferred Technical Qualifications:

• Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
• Microsoft 365 Certified: Security Administrator Associate
• Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
• Microsoft 365 Certified: Messaging Administrator Associate
• Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate
• Microsoft Certified: Security Operations Analyst Associate
• Experience with FortiGate, HP networks, EMC Unity, PowerShell, Microsoft SQL.
