Talent Acquisition Assistant

Guest Services, Inc. is now seeking a highly service oriented individual to join our Talent Acquisition Team as the Talent Acquisition (TA) Assistant. Our TA Assistant will provide administrative support within our Applicant Tracking System, Cornerstone, as well as collaborate with operators and managers on additional recruiting needs.

This is an entry level position and candidates must be able to multi-task and prioritize in a fast paced environment as well as be organized and efficient. Candidates must have strong computer knowledge and have an eagerness to learn!

Depending on location, this position may by hybrid or fully remote.

Pay starts at $18-20 per hour. Candidates must reside in a state in which Guest Services currently operates.

What do we need?

The Talent Acquisition Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support and coordination of various Talent Acquisition functions including but not limited to: recruitment/employment, onboarding, and Human Resource Information Systems administration.

How will you make an impact?

  • Participates in recruitment efforts for exempt and nonexempt personnel.
  • Provides information regarding company operations and job opportunities to potential applicants.
  • Assists in hiring process by coordinating job posting on the careers websites, reviewing resumes, performing telephone interviews, and writing offer letters.
  • Assists in onboarding process by tracking completion of background checks and assisting new hires in getting all required employment documentation completed.
  • Schedules and attends job/career fairs with appropriate staff to generate qualified applicants.
  • Conducts training programs for managers with a goal of improving recruiting and hiring efficiencies, reducing turnover, and creating positive relationships with employees.
  • Handles confidential information in a professional manner, respecting employee privacy while maintaining company confidentiality.
  • Assists in the exit interview process.
  • Maintains compliance with federal, states, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Administration of the applicant tracking system and learning management system. Maintains recruiting and training records as required. Compiles reports from system database.

What will you bring to the role?

  • Bachelor’s Degree a plus.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage and hospitality operations, customer oriented, strong time management skills, strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • HRIS (People Soft), ATS, and/or LMS experience a plus.
  • Bi-lingual in English and Spanish languages a plus.
  • Proficient knowledge of computer software (Microsoft Office Suite), computer hardware and computer servers.
  • High level of discretion and interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential personnel matters and documentation.
  • Ability to operate most standard office equipment.
  • Attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities, and meeting deadlines.
  • Good to excellent spelling, grammar, and writing communication skills.
  • Excellent telephone and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.

What are the physical requirements?

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
  • This position requires the ability to lift, carry, and push office products and supplies, up to 20 lbs.
