LOCATION: Chili, NY

SUMMARY: This role provides support to the Talent Acquisition team throughout the hiring process and owns the TA administrative process for all divisions. Supports the recruiting process through post offer. The Specialist will also assist with reporting and data on an as needed basis for human resources and recruitment projects.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

  • Creates and implements end-to-end hiring processes to ensure a positive experience for candidates, supports the daily recruitment activities related to Talent Acquisition including, but not limited to, the coordination of job postings, interview scheduling, offer letters, and the applicants’ initial on-boarding experience.
  • Manages pre-employment background check process to include sending background check information to candidates and monitoring completion of background checks, drug tests and physicals, and brings any issues that need follow up to TA leadership.
  • Maintains applicant tracking system, recruiting reports and the overall TA’s data integrity.
  • Acts as primary point of contact for questions from candidates, both internal and external.
  • Review accuracy of data to be entered into HRIS and identifies potential risks or issues and takes corrective measures.
  • Participates in implementation of new Talent Acquisition technology and process improvements.
  • Processes required documents through HRIS systems to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper documentation of new hires.
  • Performs customer service functions by answering employee, manager requests and questions.
  • Schedules meetings and interviews as requested by the Mgr. and HR director.
  • Responsible for data analytics, pulls reports and compares data for business needs.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field or equivalent experience preferred. A minimal of 2 years’ experience in the HR field.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
