Overview:
The Talent Acquisition Specialist plays an integral part in executing strategies, programs, and processes that attract, recruit, and develop top talent for Titan Machinery.

  • Execute recruiting programs, processes, and activities to proactively source experienced, qualified candidates for career-level positions, and ensure robust pipelines for early career programs. This includes but is not limited to:
    • Organizing and/or attending in-person and remote career fairs and events
    • Hosting in-person and virtual panels and focus groups
    • Partnering with hiring managers to conduct one-on-one and/or group discussions and interviews
    • Developing and maintaining relationships with colleges and universities, technical schools, high schools, and stores to ensure we are training and developing successful Service Technicians and other talent across the organization
  • Develop and maintain expertise using Titan’s Application Tracking process and systems to ensure data accuracy and organizational compliance with Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity best practices, while also providing a best in class experience for all applicants and candidates
  • Provide excellent service, collaboration, and support to Titan managers at all levels, as they execute on key people processes, including contacting and screening applicants in a timely and effective manner
  • Act as a Titan Brand Ambassador, demonstrating a positive and professional image that supports Titan’s Core Values and attracts qualified candidates to the team
  • Understand and report on industry trends and apply best practices to sourcing, attracting, and retaining talent
  • Develop a network of industry contacts and relationships to develop talent relationships for the company
  • Actively participate and collaborate in human resources initiatives/projects
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations while performing work assignments
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Required:
  • Associate degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications or related degree
  • 1+ years of related talent acquisition experience and/or related military experience
  • Ability to handle and resolve frequent interpersonal conflict
  • Ability to perform in a fast-paced, stressful work environment
  • Ability to respond quickly, accurately, and professionally to demands and requests from customers and employees
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time and work flexible hours

Preferred:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications or related degree
  • Understanding and working knowledge of Affirmative Action, Equal Opportunity, and equitable sourcing and selection practices
  • Prior experience with Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Experience and or knowledge of technical positions and training (e.g. Diesel Technology)
