CALLAGHAN LLP is a full service CPA firm located in Hauppauge, NY providing quality tax, accounting and consulting services to individuals and businesses. Our expertise ranges from tax and accounting services to services such as estate and tax planning, analysis of tax consequences of tax motivated transactions, structural analysis, and financial statement preparation.
We are currently seeking an experienced a Tax Senior/Supervisor with 5-8 years experience to join our growing team in Orlando, Florida.
Responsibilities
- Preparation and Review of individual, corporate, partnership, trust and estate returns and projections for accuracy as well as provide insight to tax saving measures
- Federal and State tax research
- Prepare and Review financials (SSARS 21, compilations, reviews)
- Mentor staff
- Full charge coordination and completion of client engagements
- Consultation with clients on various business matters including controller support
- Response to client inquiries including IRS and State and Local tax notices
Qualifications
- 5-8 years public tax experience with HNW individuals and mid-sized businesses
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- CPA a plus or in process of taking CPA exams
- Auditing experience a plus
- Current knowledge of GAAP
- Take charge with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Proficient with tax and accounting software including Quickbooks
- CCH Axcess and Engagement a plus
Salary

Pay: $85,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
