Overview
Mativ, formally Neenah, Inc. is currently looking to fill a temporary Utility Operator position in our Appleton Mill.
Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for operating high pressure boilers and related equipment along with hydro-electric water wheel in a safe and efficient manner with minimal supervision. This position monitors the boiler functions, effectively adjust as needed and recognize issues when they arise.
This position works a swing schedule which is a 12-hour shift schedule rotating cycle of two 12-hour days (7am-7pm) and two 12-hour nights (7pm-7am) followed by 4 days off. This is an hourly union position. Rate of pay: $29.80/hr.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Prior experience with high pressure boiler systems and/or license preferred
