Under the Direct Supervision of the Program Coordinator and Supervisor, primary responsibilities will include participant instruction, safety, and fun.
Job Summary:
Applicants will be responsible to teach basic to intermediate fundamentals of Tennis. Classes will range from semi-private (1-3) group settings (5-8). Instructors will demonstrate proper techniques, equipment use in a Tennis setting.
- Instructors will follow program format.
- Keep direct supervisor, as well as parents, informed of student progress and or any issues that may arise.
- To enforce safety, rules, and regulations whilst in class on and off the court.
Job Responsibilities: * Arrive to you shift on time, prepared, and with a positive attitude.
- Expected to notify Program Coordinator or Tennis Supervisor of an absence at least 48 hours in advance.
- Provide Tennis instruction to students between the ages of 7-14.
- Maintain a positive class environment. All issues will be handles out of the eyes and ears of the public.
- Help Supervisors determine student placement as well as the possibility to combine classes.
- To respect participants, parents, and staff.
- Display willingness to both bring your skills and experience to our team as well as learn new techniques and approaches from us.
Qualifications: * Must be able to work with students of all ages.
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Must conduct a sense of maturity and maintain a sense of professionalism.
- Must be reliable.
- Coaching and or instructor experiences preferred, but not required.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
