Description:

The Test Automation Lead directs the strategy for test automation on a greenfield product build. The test automation lead will need to drive the decision for the automation test tool and the overall test automation strategy that ensures comprehensive quality assurances. You will lead the test automation strategy, planning, execution, and resources using Agile methodology across the program. You will lead the testing as a continuous and efficient end to end quality engineering function using quality processes, tools, and methodologies significantly improving control, accuracy and integrity. Lastly, you will evolve more predictive and intelligent testing approaches based on automation and innovative testing products and solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Work very closely with product manager, Business Analyst, UX designer and architect to define technical product requirements and collaborate within agile teams to drive user story/tasks creation along with Test Automation activities to ensure appropriate test automation coverage and strategy.
• Accurately assess level of effort to implement automation improvements and help team to deliver a project on time.
• Design and develop Automation Framework & generate Test Automation scripts for UI & Services
• Analyze the failures in the Test Execution results and incorporate ongoing enhancements to framework and/or assist with bug triage
• Create Automated Regression Test Suite integrated with the CI/CD tools for ongoing execution
• Generate ongoing test automation health reports
• Manage the bug lifecycle and standards for bug definition within Jira
• Drive defect triage meetings with the technical and product teams
• Experience with Agile Testing Methodologies

Skills required to contribute:

• 10+ years of total Quality Assurance experience with special focus on Test Automation
• 8+ years of experience in developing Test Automation Scripts
• Experience with popular automation tools, libraries and frameworks, such as Selenium Webdriver, RestAssured, JUnit/TestNG, Cucumber, Maven, Allure, Report Portal, Appium, Ready API, Swagger , Squish, UFT, Saucelabs
• Advanced experience reading/writing one or more languages: C#, Python, JavaScript, Java, TypeScript
• Expertise in developing Test Frameworks that minimize maintenance and leverage industry best practices for defining and mocking data requirements
• Experience in driving unit test standards with the developers and necessary non-functional requirements within the team
• Experience with automated API contract testing
• Expertise with data driven, keyword driven, script-less, hybrid, and behavior-driven automation frameworks
• Expertise in creating UI test frameworks using Page Object Model.
• Experience in creating CI pipelines using Jenkins, AWS
• Implementing integrations, continuous testing/integrations
• Hands-on experience specifying, establishing and managing test environments and test data for load and functional test automation
• Hands on service (APIs) & UI Testing
• Trouble shooting skill for analyzing problem tickets / production issues
• Experience in GIT, JIRA
• Good Communication skills
