Adelphoi has a full-time Therapist position available for the Washington County In-Home Prevention Treatment and Aftercare program (IHPTA). A master’s degree is preferred; however, the position does offer on-the-job training and qualified candidates can apply for the position while pursuing their degree. The position is located in Washington County.
***Flexible schedule with the potential to work from home
***Starting salary of $42,000 based on experience and educational background
***$1,000 bonus
***Mileage reimbursement
***Clinical supervision offered for licensure
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
To coordinate and implement services with delinquent and dependent youth and their natural family within the context of a family setting; to promote a safe environment in which youth may grow socially, emotionally, intellectually, and physically. Duties:
- Provide regular in-house visits with youth and families in order to implement and monitor treatment goals.
- Completes assessments and develops treatment plan goals for youth and families
- Develops appropriate treatment plans in order to foster emotional, intellectual, and social growth and development of youth
- Provides support and assistance to caregivers of delinquent and dependent youth
- Teaches and trains natural parents in parenting skills, budgeting, home maintenance, and employment skills
- Intervenes in crisis situations with appropriate counseling as necessary
- Documents required information and completes required reports in a timely manner.
- Participates in court hearings and county meetings as required
- Travels daily to carry out the functions of the job
- Manage up to four cases at a time.
The position requires working non-traditional hours to meet the needs of the youth and families.
Education: Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field (or currently pursuing)
