Job Title: Therapist (Mental Health & Substance Use Disorder)

Shift: 9 – 5, Monday through Friday (40 hours/week, schedule is negotiable)

Starting Salary: $ 65,000 - $ 80,000 per year – Subject to Licensure, Qualifications and Experience

Job Description & Required Qualifications

General schedule is Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm, however, schedule is negotiable. Therapists will conduct group therapy in the evening one night a week and occasional weekend hours

Required Qualifications and Preferences

  • Minimum of Master's degree in mental health services field from an accredited college or university
  • Hold or qualify for an unrestricted Psychologist, LMFT, LCSW, LPC or CMHC license FROM ANY U.S. STATE
  • Addiction and substance abuse (SUD) treatment experience preferred
  • Familiarity with the science and practice of Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) preferred
  • Trauma-Informed and trauma-specific practices (i.e. EMDR, Exposure, TF-CBT) training preferred
  • Strong rapport-building skills and a team approach to health and wellbeing
  • Experience with White Bison's Wellbriety curricula, EBPs, and Co-Occurring Disorder treatment modalities preferred
  • Candidates of Native American background and/or cultural familiarity are preferred

Responsibilities

  • Conduct biopsychosocial assessments
  • Review and updates prior assessments
  • Develop individualized and client-centered treatment plans
  • Become familiar with and utilize White Bison's 12-step (Wellbriety) curriculum, EBPs for recovery, interventions for co-occurring disorders
  • Conduct group therapy sessions
  • Conduct individual therapy sessions
  • Attend and participate fully in weekly staff meetings
  • Work closely in a collegial manner with all treatment team members

It is comprised of four integrated programs: Warrior Spirit (for men) and Warrior Heart (for women) provide residential treatment for the treatment of substance use and co-occurring disorders, Warrior Rising is our outpatient mental health/SUD treatment program with IOP, OP and adolescent services, and the NAT-SU Health Clinic and pharmacy provides primary and family medical services. NAT-SU Healthcare is an NHSC-approved rural healthcare site for student loan repayment awards.

Work Remotely

  • As a result of of the Covid-19 Health Care Crisis and the resulting expansion of Telehealth services, several functions of the therapist position may be undertaken remotely.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
