As a Ticket Scanner for The Summit at Snoqualmie, your job is providing great guest service along with the checking and scanning of tickets and season passes and crowd control as guests enter the lift maze. You will also work closely with the Security, providing reports on pass frauds, and Lift Operations departments. 100% of your time is spent outside.

As a Ticket Scanner for The Summit at Snoqualmie, your job is providing great guest service along with the checking and scanning of tickets and season passes and crowd control as guests enter the lift maze. You will also work closely with the Security, providing reports on pass frauds, and Lift Operations departments. 100% of your time is spent outside.
Come work and play at Seattle’s home mountain, The Summit at Snoqualmie. Located an hour West of Seattle via Interstate 90 at Snoqualmie Pass, The Summit includes four unique mountain areas, a snow tubing park, Nordic center, and 10+ food and beverage establishments. Perks also, include free season pass and resort and industry discounts.
Responsibilities:
Job duties may include, but are not limited to:

Welcome and greet guests and assist them as needed as they enter the lift maze.

Checking/Scanning/Verifying every guest for a valid ticket or pass.

Establish crowd control and effectively communicate traffic flow to guests.

Continually remain vigilant to the needs of both the equipment and the guests.
- Capable of resolving guest conflict using resort policies and procedures.

Communicate problems to Leads/Supervisors, while showing initiative in handling routine matters and emergencies.

Must become familiar with the area (lifts and trails).

Have a comprehensive knowledge of all ticket and pass types. Trining provided.

Contribute to team effort by assuming responsibility for the cleanliness of the resort and safety of guests and staff.

Participate in safety meetings, maintain a positive and friendly attitude and demeanor in all internal and external interactions.

Shoveling of snow is sometimes required.
What we are looking for:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
- Must provide outstanding Guest Service.
- Customer Service experience preferred.
- Knowledge of other languages a plus!

Wage and Benefit Info:
The wage range for this positions is: from $18.75 to $19.35
This is a non-benefited role.
All individuals may contribute to the 401(k). An employee must work 1,000 hours in a calendar year to qualify for the discretionary match (there is a 2 year vesting cliff).
All individuals accrue sick time at 1 hour per 40 hours worked to a maximum of 64 hours per year.
