Tool Room Machinist
A growing manufacturing company in Kenosha, WI is looking for a Tool Room Machinist to join their team. This is a 1st shift DIRECT HIRE opportunity!
Requirements of the Tool Room Machinist
· High School Diploma or GED
· 2-5 years of Tool and Die experience, preferably in injection molding
· Knowledge of metalworking processes
· Ability to read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawing, and tool design
Responsibilities of the Tool Room Machinist
· Set up and operate a wide range of machines, including CNC machines, to fabricate parts, fixtures, gages, and build or repair tools
· Analyze, diagnose and correct, tooling problems on the production floor and in the Tool Room
· Test operation of molds to ensure functionality, conferring with engineering and production personnel as necessary to ensure they are fit for use
· Take preventive measures for keeping the tools and molding surfaces safe and free of damage
· Maintain tool room stock, operating manuals, mold drawings, mold and component locations, and mold maintenance records
Schedule is 1st shift, DIRECT HIRE
Pay is $25.00 - $35.00 an hour, depending on experience
