Tower Tech Job at Lemcon, Inc
Responsibilities
- Climbing and working on communications towers while installing, replacing, and repairing antenna systems equipment; performing tower maintenance under close supervision.
- The basic use and care of hand tools and mechanical equipment.
- Knowing the hazards associated with tower climbing, construction equipment, and working on or near energized lines and equipment.
- The ability to climb tall structures (100 feet or more) with 50 lb. load.
- Analyzing situations accurately and adopt an appropriate course of action.
- Following instructions accurately and complete assigned course of action.
- Recognizing safety hazards and performing duties in a safe manner.
Requirements
- Must be willing to and capable of working at heights often in excess of 100’
- Must be able to lift >70lbs
- Must have strong work ethic
- Must be interested in growing and developing in this industry
- Must have valid Driver’s License
- Must have reliable means of transportation to and from our shop
- Must be able to take direction and carry-out tasks as directed, to the standard of quality required by our customers and governing jurisdictions
- Must have basic knowledge of standard hand tools
- Must possess basic computer skills (email, online training modules, timesheet completion)
- Must be able to pass drug screen/background check
- Must be reachable by phone and in consistent communication with your supervisor
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
